November Ribbon Club

Hey Everybody Loves Ribbon members and those who would like to be members, it's the day you've been waiting for! November club ribbons are now revealed!

November's Ribbon Includes 1 yard of each:
1. 3/8" inch Ivory Ribbon with brown Argyle
2. 3/8" inch Chocolate Brown/Gold Reversible Satin Ribbon
3. 1/2" inch Antique Gold and Ivory Striped Grosgrain
4. 3/8" inch Olive Green with black Edges
5. 3/8" inch Sheer Burgundy Swiss Dots Ribbon
6. 1/4" Brown Ric Rac
7. 3/8" inch Olive Green Grosgrain with side stitch

December Ribbon Club Sneak Peeks!

It's that time again! December sneak peeks are here! In just a few days, you will get to see all of the beautiful November ribbons. I know you are anxiously waiting!

The December Ribbon Club consists of green and red ribbons for the Christmas holiday.
Here are 3 out of the 8 ribbons!

I love the satin ornament ribbon! The peppermint stripe makes me excited for candy canes and you can never go wrong with gingham.

It's a rainy fall day here with the wind blowing the beautiful, colorful leaves all around.

Woven Ribbon Headbands

I am excited to have finally learned how to make these woven headbands. I only bought 3 and wish I would have purchased more! They are so much fun. The possibilities are completely endless.

I used 1 inch headbands and 3/8 ribbon for each headband. Just remember, these are my very first ones and I still need some practice!

It's a cloudy day here so the pictures are a bit dark, but I couldn't wait for a sunny day to post them.

All the ribbons used are available in the shop! One of them is using ribbons from November's Ribbon Club :).

The Everybody Loves Ribbon Club is now available through simple monthly paypal payments. Paying for 6 month or 12 month subscriptions are still cheaper in the long run, but I understand how hard it can be to have a big chunk of money coming out all at once.

Click the subscribe button to the right and you will be subscribed to the club! Payment is made through paypal so I won't have your card information. The subscription is $8.50 + $1.30 shipping. Your payment will be taken out automatically each month on the same day. The Everybody Loves Ribbon Club is only available to US residents at this time.

Remember, if you subscribe the 1st-10th of each month, your subscription will begin with the current month. Subscribe the 11th through the last day of the month and your subscription will begin with the next month.

The Everybody Loves Ribbon Club ships on the 15th of each month!

A New Ribbon Assortment!!

I love black and white! This ribbon assortment is full of awesome ribbons! Nine yards of amazing. Match it with your favorite color, pink, green, orange, whatever! They will look great with anything you choose.

Project Ribbon- Hair Clips

I think I'm in love with making these clips! They are so simple and quick to make. It just took a clip and 4 1/2 inches of ribbon from your October ribbon club to make them. I added a small bow to one of them. The sky is the limit with decorating them!

Should I add hair clip kits to the store so you can make your own?

Project Ribbon-Spooky Scrapbook Page

This 9x9 page is very simple. I didn't have any Halloween themed paper so I used a stamp to make the bat background.

This page shows a few uses of ribbon. You can use ribbon as a corner border, tie it around your photo mat, as a background border on your page and behind a title.

Project Ribbon- Ribbon and Cards

Happy Tuesday! I'm sure you will see lots of cards on here since those are one of the most commons uses of ribbon. Today's project is a couple of cards I made. I made another small gift bow to put on a card.

Project Ribbon- Ribbon Gift Bows

This week will feature some project ideas to to use your October ribbon club. It doesn't have to be for Halloween items.

This first item is a gift bow and I really like how it turned out! They are so fancy looking and so easy to make.

November Sneak Peeks!

I am still debating which ribbon to show you for the sneak peeks! Do I show you my favorites? Do I show you one favorite and some not my favorite? I really like them all, but definitely have a favorite or two, but I can't decide which ones are truly my favorite. :)

Before I get down to business of showing you, I'd like to give you some information on the ribbon club.

Sneak Peeks will be shown around the 25th of the month, 2 months prior to it's delivery. So September will show November, October will show December, and so on.

The Full Reveal will be on the 1st of every month. So, today you will see a few of the November ribbons but won't see all of them until November 1st. I showed you October early because it's the first club and I wanted you to drool over it! The Ribbon Club will be available for single purchases on the first of the month also. Be sure to check the store on the 1st of October if you want to purchase without having to buy a subscription! Club members have first dibs on the ribbons so make sure you grab them quickly if you really like them!

Enough words! Here are the pics of 3 of the 8 ribbons you will receive in November.

November features ribbons with colors that you see falling from your trees in the fall... wonderful olive greens, golden browns, cranberry, and a little bit of orange.

This is a satin 2 toned ribbon with chocolate brown on one side and gold on the other!

This is a sheer cranberry colored ribbon with white polka dots. You would think when you shake the ribbon that cranberry juice would come out because the color is so rich!

This 2 toned grosgrain ribbon is antique gold and ivory. A perfect neutral colored ribbon!

October Ribbon Club

The moment you've been waiting for! October's Ribbon Club is here! It features 8 delicious ribbons and you will get a whole yard of each when you subscribe! Don't want to subscribe? During the month of October only, you can purchase just one month's worth of October's ribbon.

October's Ribbon is shown in the picture as:
1. 1/2" black grosgrain with white circles
2. 5/8" green grosgrain with white dots
3. 3/8" purple and light purple with white center dot
4. 3/8" orange, white and black checked ribbon
5. 3/8" dk. green and white striped

Hello and welcome to The Ribbon Cafe! I am excited to open this shop as having a ribbon shop has been in the back of my mind for many years.

I officially opened for business on Tuesday and got my first sale on Wednesday! I am so excited about that!

My goal for this blog is to show you the new ribbons in the shop but mainly to show off what my customers do with the ribbon. If you're another Etsy shop owner and use the ribbons from my shop for your items, I would love love love to feature your shop here!
